How is Joe Q. Square suppose to know what is an off or bad line if the LINESMAKERS set them? Some individual actually play at one or a limited amount of books so they may not get to see a comparison. Some are more inept at different sports than others when it come to reading lines and recognizing the difference. The only conclusion I could come to is there are a lot of clone books out there to where, an opinoun doesn't matter anyway (which I thought bookmaking was all about) or Don Best runs offshore? I could tell Tampa Bay -1 vs the Texans in the NFL is possibly a bad line but I couldn't tell in NBA, Lakers -4 vs Golden State (in a "perfect" world example) not taking injuries, who's at home and etc.
